Follow these simple steps and you can use TRO Videos, Activity Guides, 60-Second Geography or Voyager stories in your own print or electronic newsletters.

Please read the following CAREFULLY!

Send us an email at license@travelresearchonline. List the materials you will use and how you intend to use them. Include the line “I agree to the Terms and Conditions of the TRO License of this material.” Please include the date your use will begin. Please include the URL of the site where you will be using the content. Email yourself a copy of the TRO article(s) you wish to use or cut and paste the appropriate html code from the TRO page.. Use the source code from the email to insert into your newsletter. We can not provide technical support for your use of this feature. Please have your own webmaster or technician work with you on placing the TRO materials in your newsletter. A single TRO video may appear on your website at any time. Please do not use more than one video at a time. The best technique is to email yourself a copy of the video using the "Share" feature. Then use the link you receive to link to the video. That way it will also include your logo. Please mention TRO to your vendors and suppliers. Their support of TRO makes our collection of free tools possible. This is very important. Your assistance in letting your suppliers know you appreciate TRO is vital to keeping our materials available! Thank you for using TRO. Terms and Conditions

• Any travel agent or agency (“the Agent”) may use any TRO Activity Guide or Voyager Story or 60-Second Geography article (collectively “the Materials”) for any of the following purposes:
  • A print newsletter article published by the Agent having a circulation of no more than 5000 copies.
  • A print newspaper or other media in print published by a person other than the agent having a circulation of no more than 30,000 copies.
  • An electronic newsletter published by the Agent and sent to no more than 1000 clients.
  • The Voyager Articles and Activity Guides may be placed on a website for no more than 30 consecutive days at a time. After such 30 day period, any other article may be placed on the site.
  • Up to ten (10) 60-Second Geography stories can be placed on an agent's website at any given time.
• No more than 10 individual articles of the Materials may be used in any 120 day period by any Agent.
• The Materials may not be edited and must be published in their complete form, except that pictures may be deleted if desired. Pictures may not be used apart from the orgininal articles in which they are published by TRO. Each individual publication of the Materials must bear its original copyright mark and, where applicable, the name of the author.
• This license may be amended or revoked at any time.
• This grant of license specifically does not include the Destination Guides, Voyager Travel Guides and/or Frommers content which must be licensed for website use separately.
• Photographs must be linked from TRO. They may not be placed on the the Agent's server.
