Well Begun Is Half Done

I am one of those people who honestly feel that every new day provides a new opportunity to ply your trade and to make somebody’s day. That being said, January is the time of year where most people make up their minds to make the next twelve months a year for the record books.

Let’s jump on that bandwagon for the moment. The New Year and the NEW YOU. So, what is it you are planning to do to improve upon the current you. Your options are plentiful.

Let's get started inscription on white blank papper. Cup of coffee and pencil, over rustic wooden

You can add to your current list of assets. You can eliminate one or two debilitating habits that are thwarting your progress. You can adopt a few new proactive procedures to your daily list of activities. You can explore a few methods designed to cement relationships with your current clients, thereby protecting the chance of their selecting a different service provider.  The list goes on and is limited only by your imagination.

I am reminded of a well-written book by Mel Robbins titled The Five-Second Rule. The gist of this book is that the sooner you begin a project of any size the sooner you will see it to fruition. This leads me back to today’s article title. Starting any project or assignment often becomes the most difficult part.

The challenge at hand should be becoming clear to you. Regardless of whatever plans you have in store for you as the year unfolds, the most prudent time to get the ball rolling is today.

Put your excuses and all of your procrastinating tendencies aside, roll up your sleeves, and let’s get 2025 off and running with focus, speed and conviction.

Remember, you are driving the bus. Where you end up twelve months from today, and what route you elect to take is entirely up to you. Regardless of your chosen route, you are in for a ride filled with beautiful scenery with an occasional bump, some stop-and-go traffic and a U-Turn now and then.
