The collaboration between AmaWaterways and Celiac Cruise has already delivered amazing European itineraries and adventures, offering dedicated 100-percent gluten-free ships and experiences for guests sailing the Danube and Seine rivers.

Through its work with ocean cruise lines and AmaWaterways over the past four years, Celiac Cruise has provided more than 5,000 individuals with the opportunity to experience incredible, safe gluten-free travel around the world. As part of the travel options provided, AmaWaterways has worked diligently with the experienced team at Celiac Cruise to create a 100% gluten-free environment onboard their fleet of river cruise ships during dedicated ship charters. Looking ahead, guests will be able to experience even more cities and ports of call throughout the European region.

Celiac Cruise has announced three additional 7-night 100% gluten-free ship charters:

  • Departing October 12, 2024, guests on board the 156-passenger AmaViola will cruise the Danube River between Vilshofen, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary visiting iconic cities like Vienna and Bratislava and historic towns like Passau and Linz. Starting off the journey will be an exclusive gluten-free Oktoberfest party with guests enjoying traditional local entertainment accompanied by gluten-free beer and soft pretzels.
  • Departing December 9, 2024, guests will enjoy a special Christmas Market experience on the Rhine River cruising from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Netherlands (waitlist is available).
  • Departing May 1, 2025, guests will have an amazing opportunity to step into living French history on a Bordeaux river cruise, with included guided excursions to discover centuries-old chateaus and vineyards while tasting the finest vintages during the 7-night journey.
