Uniworld’s Biggest Flash Sale; A French Adventure With Riverside; Plus, New Ships From Riviera

Recently, three prominent river cruise companies have unveiled their latest offerings. Uniworld’s Biggest Flash Sale takes center stage, promising unmatched savings on all-inclusive luxury river cruises—an exclusive event marking the leap year with special discounts. Then, Riviera unveils its newest fleet additions, vowing to redefine the cruising experience with innovative features and spacious accommodations. And lastly, Riverside invites travelers to spectate on a captivating French odyssey.

Uniworld’s Biggest Flash Sale

Uniworld is launching its Leap Year Flash Sale today at 11 AM PT, which features 2-for-1 savings that only come around every four years. The surprise activation marks one of the biggest discounts for the brand – up to 50% off all-inclusive luxury river cruise sailings.

The Leap Year Flash Sale features savings on some of Uniworld’s most popular European itineraries for 2024. Each week, a batch of 10 cruises will be released at a 2-for-1 discount, with the second and third batch of sailings being released on February 20 and February 26, respectively. Guests have until Leap Day, February 29, to book their sailings, pending availability.

First-round sailings include ‘Brilliant Bordeaux’ featuring France’s stunning backdrops and wine culture across three rivers on the S.S. Bon Voyage; ‘Burgundy & Provence’journeying through southern France and exploring local cuisine and art onboard the S.S. Catherine; ‘Highlights of Eastern Europe’ on the classic Danube River from Budapest to Bucharest on the S.S. Beatrice, and more. Guests can stay tuned to discover additional sailings and experiences that will be unveiled here as part of the sale throughout February.

Uniworld is also still offering its 2024 Solo Traveler Savings, waiving the Single Supplement on select European itineraries. Additionally, Uniworld’s 2024 Cruise Savings Event is live with savings of up to $3,000 per person on journeys in India, Peru, Vietnam, Europe and beyond. Both of these deals are valid on new bookings made by February 29.

Riviera’s New Ships

Riviera River Cruises will launch two new ships on the rivers of Europe in 2025, including one with a split-level bar and restaurant, a third restaurant, and the line’s largest-ever suites. The new ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, will also share the line’s name for improved branding.

The 443-foot Riviera Radiance will feature amenities and cabins spread over four decks, including a split-level bar and restaurant, a third restaurant named Mosaic offering menus inspired by the rivers of Europe, a sun deck with pool, a bistro with open kitchen, a fitness center, and a spa and wellness area.

Riviera Radiance’s 89 cabins will accommodate 178 passengers. All cabins will have double beds that can be converted to twin beds, a bathroom with rain shower, desk with chair, flat-screen TV, individually controlled air conditioning, coffee machine, tea kettle, and more. Grand suites will be Riviera’s largest, at 344 square feet, and will have a balcony with sliding doors and outdoor seating, and a seating area with sofa, lounge chair, and small table. Superior suites will be 258 square feet and will have a French balcony with sliding doors and a seating area with lounge chair and small table. Double cabins will be 172 square feet and will have a seating area with lounge chair and small table. Upper- and middle-deck Double cabins will have a French balcony with sliding doors, while lower-deck Double cabins will have a smaller fixed window.

The 262-foot Riviera Rose will feature amenities and cabins spread over four decks, including a sun deck with sky lounge, bar, and pool, an intimate yet relaxed restaurant with informal seating, and a fitness center.

Riviera Rose’s 57 cabins will accommodate 114 passengers. All cabins will have double beds that can be converted to twin beds, a bathroom with rain shower, desk with chair, flat-screen TV, individually controlled air conditioning, coffee machine, tea kettle, and more. Balcony suites will be 258 square feet and will have a French balcony with sliding doors and outdoor seating, and a seating area with sofa, lounge chair, and small table. Standard cabins will be 172 square feet and will have a seating area with lounge chair and small table. Upper- and middle-deck standard cabins will have a balcony with sliding doors, while lower-deck standard cabins will have a smaller fixed window.
